Baby blanket

This is the second blanket in the works for my little grandson who is about to arrive any day now. 
The first blanket has a mix of blue, green and white, very pretty.  
It's been a very long time since I last crocheted, as I also love to knit. 
On this blanket I'm simply working a single crochet stitch using a K 6.5 hook. 
 I will work the scalloped edge using a~double crochet, single crochet, double crochet~ 
all three stitches in one hole, a slip stitch in the next hole 
and so on around the entire blanket. I will show another photo when finished.
I love all things simple!
If you have never crocheted before this is a great way to start!!

    What a lucky grandson to be. I love boys (my son was adopted)and my grandson is delightful and the light of my life. You will enjoy the future with him and him with you for sure.
