Penny Mats

I purchased a penny mat kit from 

Cee Rafuse @ thediaryofarugmaker.blogspot.com

The kit includes all the materials you need to make two primitive candle mats.

Cee also provides 5  youtube videos on how to assemble the mats.

I find stitching using the blanket stitch so relaxing!

I have finished one, just needs pressing and almost finished stitching the other.

My little girl Tulla turned 9 this month!

She really is the sweetest Pug!

She loves napping on my hooked rugs.

Hooked Rug

Today is my birthday so I'm taking it easy doing things that I like to do!!

 I've been spending some time up in my workroom finishing up this rug. 

Very seldom do I get to hook during the day!!

This pattern is an antique adaptation hand-drawn and shared

My version measure 47" x 18".
