Inside the barn

February 17, 2014

Several years ago, my son decided to create a space in the upper level
of our barn to use as his art studio.
Chris paints mostly landscapes, but at times enjoys painting Still Life.
He covered the old barn floors temporarily with plywood
for safety and to protect them.
Can you see his little black cat on the ladder?
We believe the barn was built in the early 1800's.

Wishing you all a wonderful day!
xoxo Louise

Still Life set up. Tape marks on floor are for standing position.

As you can see this barn is huge!

In the 60's owners installed a basketball court for their 4 sons.

Back entrance to the barn.

  6. I would love to have that barn. My barn that houses my rug hooking studio is about the size of a two car garage. I'm running out of room.
