Hi everyone,
Hope you're all having a great week
keeping warm, healthy and finding time to create.
I wanted to share a few pieces I recently finished.
The penny mat was a kit by Cee Rafuse link.
I find hand-stitching so very relaxing!
I'm now working on appliqué Christmas stockings,
also by Cee.
Her kits are wonderful!!!
My hooked rug Daisy is now hanging in our little breakfast room.
Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Wishing you all a great day!!!
xoxo Louise
Hello Louise...your breakfast room looks wonderful with Daisy on it's wall! I love the penny rug...your stitching is lovely. I ordered a few kits from Cee, as well. One is a stocking, and with the amount of time it takes me to complete a project I had better get to it. I love sewing by hand...very Zen.
ReplyDeleteStay warm,
Robyn
Thank you Robyn! They sure do take time to make. xo
DeleteSo Beautiful!

Louise, the rug and penny rug are beautiful. I love Cee's designs. I'm working on her design Ned and Jake right now. I've admired it on pinterest for some time now, so glad she decided to make kits for her work. I too did the penny rug and two Christmas stockings and a few of the others she offered.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your breakfast room.
One of my blogging buddies also made this same rug...I loved this design by Lori. Looks great on your wall. Janice

ReplyDeleteI love Cee's kits so much, that is just a beautiful rug too.
ReplyDeletePerfect spot for Daisy. I thought it was smaller but seeing the rug in the room I realize it's a nice size. I like the soft colors in the penny work.
ReplyDeleteLove where daisy is hanging and your penny rug looks amazing. I finished one of Dee's stockings in time for Christmas and now working on Ned and Jake. I ordered her 500 penny circles but haven't received them yet. Isn't her wool fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear so many of you are stitching Cee's kits!! I'll share my Christmas stockings once finished.
ReplyDeleteI also ordered Ned and Jake, I couldn't resist!!! :) :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!!!! xoxoxo
Louise,
ReplyDeleteYour penny mat and Daisy rug are both wonderful! Daisy looks perfect where you've displayed it. Looks like a good size rug! Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Lori
Beautiful Louise!!! I purchased two of Cee's kit's as gifts for my mom..she just LOVES them.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful finishes.
ReplyDeleteI got Ned and Jake to stitch but have no idea when I will even start it. Too many projects...too little time.
Hugs :)
Lauren
Very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI just discovered Cee and I really admire her works. Will be ordering one of her penny patterns soon. I have made a runner on my own, but there is so much to learn and so little time... or maybe it is that as time goes by, I just get slower and run out of time. What ever, I have enjoyed visiting.
ReplyDeletePeace to all,
Barb
