Now that all the Christmas decorations are put away
I'm happily back to working on finishing up a few of my projects.
Daisy is a Notforgotten Farm Design
offered at Spruce Ridge Studio.
I have added the year 1852 because I think of Daisy as the special donkey
who worked our farm just around that time.
I have sprayed her with walnut dye since I didn't have
the darker gray that I had in mind.
She will need one more spray after she's finished and pressed.
Woodland Yuletide is a Punch Needle Kit
designed by Brenda Gervais at Country Stitches.
My first time using Valdani threads and what a treat it has been!
Once finished I will antique using coffee.
Not sure how I will finish it.
I hope everyone is finding peace and back to creating!
Have a wonderful week!!
xoxo Louise
Beautiful work Louise! Enjoy your week!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Louise...I have that rug hanging in one of my guest bedrooms and I just love it!! In fact...I bought an extra pattern to hook it up for a gift. It was a fun one to hook. I really like the darker background.
ReplyDeleteLouise, these are too stunning projects, thank you for sharing them with us.

ReplyDeleteI just LOVE Daisy. I recently purchased it but have not yet started to hook it.
I've not tried punching with Valdani. One of these days...in my spare time...lol!
Stay warm.
Hugs :)
