Best lotion ever!

This is the time of year that your skin starts to resemble that of an alligators,
so I thought you might like to try this lotion.
It's the very best ever!

Also works like magic on the heels of your feet!

Lotion recipe.

1 bottle of Baby lotion

1 jar vitamin E Cream

1/2 bottle of Aloe Vera lotion

1/2 jar Petroleum Jelly

One batch will fill 4 wide mouth half pint mason jars.

Mix ingredients together in a large bowl with an old hand mixer.

Many years ago Sally started me hooking with one of her beginner kits.

Then with lots of coaching I completed my first antique adaptation

Inside the barn

Several years ago, my son decided to create a space in the upper level 

of our barn to use as his art studio.

Chris paints mostly landscapes, but at times enjoys painting Still Life.

He covered the old barn floors temporarily with plywood 

for safety and to protect them. 

Can you see his little black cat on the ladder?

We believe the barn was built in the early 1800's.

In the 60's owners installed a basketball court for their 4 sons.

Hooked rugs

I wanted to share a few colorful rugs that I've been working on. 

This geometric rug would make a great bench cover!
I used only left over wool strips.
Both rugs are not as bright as they appear in the photo.
Measures approximately 12" X 20"

And "Merry Old Soul" a punch needle design by Country Stitches.

With permission I was able to enlarge the design to hook.

It's been so much fun to work on!
