Antique Adaptation

Hi Everyone,
My first post for the New Year!
My adaptation of this antique rug.
I was not happy with my background so
I decided to keep it simple and add the birds.

Such a beautiful day, the sun is shining! :)

    I love your adaptation!
    The sun is not shining in northern Ohio. In fact, there's some stuff falling from the sky but thankfully we are at 34* so it's not white.

    You did a great job with the adaptation. I love blotchy backgrounds of antique rugs and it really is difficult to achieve the aged look we all want. You did good, congratulations.
