My best buddy!

I wanted to share a few pictures I took while visiting my most

talented friend Carole O'Neill, my best buddy for the past 31 years.

I have posted pictures before of her beautiful historic home

 but today I also wanted to share her

folk art paintings, a peek at her murals and a few hooked rugs.
Sorry some of the pictures are not very sharp.

Hanging in her bedroom is this beautiful Lion rug she drew free hand

onto linen, cutting every strip of wool as she hooked away.

Only her second rug hooked thus far!!!

INCREDIBLE!

In the hall you can see a her checkerboard painted floor.

This was her first hooked rug.

I gave her the pattern and a box of pre-cut wool and this is what she created!

AWESOME!
